1. You can make the payment electronically through the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) or by mail using a payment voucher (Form 720-V).
2. Payments for excise taxes, however, are required semimonthly (twice a month) and should be made by electronic funds transfer.
3. If a segment is to or from a rural airport, the domestic segment tax doesn’t apply.
